Lawatan kedua

Hati Ummi sedih bila Chomey batuk semula. Lepas vaccination hari Rabu lepas, Chomey demam. Tapi tak lama. Lepas tu Chomey batuk balik. On the 23rd May, Abah dan Ummi bawak Chomey jumpa doctor semula. Kali ni pergi jumpa doctor Kamal Ghairabeh. Kalau pergi Doctor Dina, silap-silap, kena nebulizer lagi sekali. Tak berkesudahan.

Dr. Kamal kata, situation macam tu biasa. Babies memang lambat sikit nak recover kalau sakit. Ohh.. gitu pulak! Ummi ingatkan kalau babies sakit senang sihat. Terbalik lah maknanya. Dr. Kamal bagi umat lain - fenistil dan apsal nose drops.

Setakat hari ni batuk Chomey nampaknya masih ada walaupun tak kerap sangat. Tapi setiap kali Chomey batuk, hati Ummi sangatlah tak tenteramnya. Kalau lah boleh transfer batuk tu pada Ummi kan senang. Tapi Ummi tahu, Allah lebih tahu apa yang terbaik. Sabar ya anak Ummi sayang. Cepatlah sembuh..

Suddenly, you cough
A strange sound came from your throat
It was more like a dry phglem
and you cough again
after so many coughes

Ouch!
My heart wrenched and broke
No more smile on my lips
It hurt so much to hear you coughing my dear

How I wish we could swap
Let me be the one who cough
and you'll be in my shoes
Insyaallah, I could handle it better

You are too small to suffer the irritation
You are too naive to swallow the drugs

I am sorry my dear..
if it was due to your Ummi that you get sick
I wish I knew the root cause of it
and turn back time to do a correction
How I wish....

Please bring away the cough and itchiness in her throat

She hates it

1st dose - 5 pm 5th April 2009

After more than a week of coughing, we brought her to meet Dr Dina at Mouwasat Hospital. As suspected, we were 'softly' scolded by the doctor. Yes, my dear. We should have brought you earlier to the hospital. We thought, the cough would go by itself. We didn't want you to be exposed to the drugs too soon, indeed. But, it seems that you have to 'take' the drugs really soon - at your 3 1/2 month of age. Poor my baby...

Just like your brother and sisters, you don't like nebulizer too. You screamed and cried whenever that huge mask started to blow the unfriendly smoke. Ummi really pity you but nothing much Ummi can do. The fume was escpecially crucial to soften you phlegm. Please bear with it.




Finally! On May 5th 2009 at 6.00pm, you completed your nebulizer dose. Alhamdulillah. No more trip to the hospital. But, you still coughing. Yes, it was much better actually. Please my dear. Get well soon. Ummi is worried whenever you cough. It hurts me so much...
